As an Internal Accountant at Multiverse, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial processes. From managing internal audits to ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations within the casino and gaming industry, your contributions will directly impact our operational efficiency and financial health.

You will be responsible for handling internal accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations, and supporting the financial stability of our operations. Your role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including the management team, to maintain accurate financial records and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

These are your responsibilities:

• Manage daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.

• Track merchant account balances and monitor gaming platform and online wallet transactions for consistency.

• Handle top partner transactions and credits.

• Assist in modeling business case financials for different projects.

• Contribute to the quarterly forecasting process by collaborating cross-functionally to gather assumptions, update financial models, and prepare content for presentation to leadership.

• Support the strategy team with ad-hoc analysis on matters including footprint analysis, strategic initiatives, and financial simulations.

• Maintain all key accounting records, including:
  • General ledger entries and VAT-registered transactions.
  • Accounts receivable and payable.
  • Customer and vendor invoices.
  • Cash receipts and payments.
  • Bank deposits and withdrawals.
  • Original invoices and attachments.
  • Balance sheet and income statement items.
  • Agreements with external parties.
  • All accounting entries and records for each country.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or any equivalent field

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with people at different levels of hierarchy.

• Presentation skills.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel (Formulas and Functions, Pivot, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA).

• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles.

• Critical thinking and ability to provide recommendations to improve current reporting processes.

• Understanding and familiarity with the regulatory environment of the gaming industry, including compliance and reporting requirements specific to this sector.

I tend to be more introverted, yet I always seek solutions and aim to mediate conflicts to maintain harmony. In my free time, I enjoy working out, having played basketball and some football over the years. Nowadays, I focus on gym sessions and yoga. I also make it a point to read and meditate daily to maintain balance in my life.

I live in the city with my partner, our son, and our dog. What drives me is the ambition to see how far I can go in building this company without rushing the process.
